Our Group is proud to reach the milestone of almost 40 years of presence in the demanding food farming industry. We operate near San Benedetto, a costal area perfectly integrated in one of the most important productive regions in the whole country.
The Group consists of two production units, Conserviera Adriatica spa and SIA Società Italiana Alimenti Ltd., spread over a total area of 40.000 square meters, 15.000 of which indoors. It has a capacity of 8 production lines, 6 freezing tunnels of the latest generation and an availability of 5.000 pallets in the refrigerating rooms at -30 ° C.
The effort lavished in the constant research, innovation, commitment and responsibility imposed by productions intended for human consumption, as well as the passion of the Speca brothers for their work, allowed them to obtain the CE marking for meat, milk and fish, IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) certifications.
Since June 2014, SIA has also certificate ISO FFSC 22000. These regulations impose strict control policies such as HACCP, well equipped laboratories for analysis and a well-knit team of professionals in the Research and Development field.
SIA was founded in the 1970s becoming over time the leader in the production and distribution of frozen Italian home-made-like dishes for consumers and restaurants:.
SIA has its own brand products and is a co-packer for the large distribution chain.
